and i’m thinking about talking with a photographer!!! i mean, we’ve been engaged for 7 months tomorrow (YAY) and i think its time we get some pictures taken for possible ‘save the dates’, whenever we figure out an actual date! 

but i have no idea in which direction i should take this possible photoshoot… any ideas?

That morning was a little look into how mornings will be in the future, him waking up super early to hygiene, getting ready and going to work. He had a little less than a half day at work, since it was the first day of the 96 :) so after his time at work he picked me up at our hotel, we checked out went to pick up his friend+wife and we headed our way to DC!! :D 6 hour fun as fuck drive :P Filled with tons of piss stops thanks to the boy >_< haha tons of loud music with the windows rolled down !! 

We finally got to DC, checked into our hotel for the weekend, The Quincy, amazingly great hotel btw :D if you’re ever visiting DC. It’s close to a Metro station, nicely priced, breakfast vouchers for a nearby french café, incredible rooms :) haha giving it a great review right here, lol. As soon as we arrived we showered and changed for our romantic date. 

We went to dinner in a little Italian restaurant in Georgetown called “Paolo’s”, let me tell you fastest service EVER, even faster than any “fast food” place, lol! After we finished up, payed the most expensive parking EVER, he had the idea to go see the monuments at night. It was his first time in DC and i had never seen them at night so duh we had to :D We parked near the “Washington Monument” and walked around the “National Mall” (where all the monuments and museums are). Let me tell you the monuments look soo pretty at night. [Here’s where the engagement story begins lol] So, he wanted to do it near the Reflecting Pool but sadly it was under construction. So I saw how beautiful the WWII monument was at night and we found some little stairs and we sat down. 

[we were sitting at the other side of the fountains] :) see how beautiful it looks at night. We just started talking about the past, about our relationship, about how happy we were to be with each other on that weekend, about our future, etc.. all those cute things ^-^ and after talking for a while he told me he wanted me to stand up so he could give me a big hug, which he did. While we were hugging, i felt him reaching for his pocket and i literally said “oh, no” hahahaha. [I kind of expected it, but at the same time didn’t think it would actually happen]. After this, he got down on one knee and well you know the rest. I was so in shock i didn’t cry, i was so nervous.. as soon as he said it all i told him to sit back down again, LOL i really hate public things!! im such a goof. We hugged and kissed. Of course i said YES, i had told him that i could never say no to him, so he kind of had a sure answer coming :P.  We walked back to the car and i was still in a daze, wearing the ring i just couldn’t believe what had happened.

Walked back and drove to our hotel, he had ordered a bottle of champagne because well the hotel offered it, he’s over 21 and now that i know we were actually going to celebrate something :P  so we made our way to the Quincy and we came into the room and this is what awaited us there. 

His friend+wife did this for him, while we were eating dinner. It reads “I LOFF CHU” its how we cutely say i love you, lol. It was outlined by post-its that had little messages in every one of them and this is where it all sunk in and i cried like a little baby. The G+L was made because they had tons of spare post-its :) :) :) 

And there it is, engagement story ^__^ i’m probably missing some little details here or there, but i blame the daze i was in after and while it was happening. I still can’t believe it. I am the happiest girl in the world ;D 

Oh, and this is the ring <3
